Lets be honest, we can all probably benefit from acting a little more like pineapplesĀ šŸ˜‰!

Lately I’ve been Ć¼ber obsessed with pineapples and notĀ just in the edible way…Seriously though, what’s not to like?

Pineapples are nutrient-dense, in other words they are fully loaded with essential vitamins and minerals that boost immune function, bone strength, and eye health. Bromelain, an enzyme found in pineapple is actually used for reducing swelling and inflammation.

They have alsoĀ earned their place in the home as aĀ symbol of warmth, welcome, friendship and hospitality. My first “piece” of pineapple was given to me by my Mother when my husband and I first moved in together – a hand carved wooden pineapple with gold detail. It sits on the window sill in the kitchen.
